Today we’d like to introduce you to Jen Phippen.
Hi Jen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I am a mother, a psychotherapist, and a truth-teller, who is committed to deepening heart connections and living a life of fierce love and service. I help women discover and honor their power through guidance and mentorship. I am passionate about mentoring others to honor their grief, develop their intuition, and find meaning and purpose.
This is an incredible time to be alive and the world needs empowered hearts to co-create a more loving world. I have been a seeker throughout my life and utilize much of what I have learned on my path to assist in the evolution of my clients. I grew up in Fort Collins and after many years away, returned to the area to raise my family. I graduated from Hunter College, where I received a Bachelor’s in Fine Art and a Master’s in Social Work.
I currently run a private therapy practice called Transform the Nest where I host monthly women’s healing circles and provide counseling services to caregivers. Since starting this practice, I have gone on to illustrate, write, and self-publish a tarot deck called The Tarot of Transcendence. I also recently created group programs and am now expanding my offerings via online psycho-spiritual mentorship services available to women all over the world.
Originally, this business was a response to the burnout I was feeling working in Hospice and Palliative Care settings for over 10 years. After starting my business, it quickly became apparent that this business is so much more than a job but a soul’s calling. The work that I offer is a combination of my professional training and personal experience to offer deep and transformational healing to women.
I am the proud wife to my husband, Jay who always makes me laugh and never ceases to amaze me with his stability and insight. I have the honor of being a mother to my two wild boys and my incredibly wise stepdaughter.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My biggest struggle along this road of entrepreneurship is discerning which ideas to run with. We are so lucky to have access to so much information and inspiration right now yet I find this access can lead to decision fatigue and can distract me from my mission.
Staying focused on my vision can become difficult when I am distracted. I have been working diligently to stay on task to complete the needed tasks step by step to breathe life into my dreams and make them a reality.

There are many different aspects to my work. I am currently running several different businesses. First and foremost, I am a psychotherapist based out of Fort Collins.
My practice is called Transform the Nest and focuses on supporting women to thrive in their lives. I offer psycho-spiritual support in my office and virtually throughout Colorado. I host monthly women’s healing circles utilizing breathwork and mindfulness practices for women to meet with open hearts in the community. Each circle offers its kind of magic as unique women from all backgrounds come together in a vulnerable and loving space. I also recently expanded my offerings to reach women internationally through online psycho-spiritual mentorship services with one-to-one and group options available via Zoom.
On top of my service work, I created a tarot deck called the Tarot of Transcendence. The deck is a labor of love and utilizes the symbolism of tarot to offer a deeper understanding of ourselves, our psyches, and our spirits. I love integrating these cards into my circles and hearing how they have brought deep meaning to those who use them. They are a product that reflects the service work I offer the world.
I feel passionate about providing a safe space for women to discover their innate power and unique gifts to live a life aligned with their deepest values. I assist my clients in deepening their self-love and compassion while cultivating resiliency practices to face the suffering of our time. My specialties treat issues associated with caregiving; including grief, postpartum, life transitions, and compassion fatigue.
I am proud that these services and products are offered with integrity and a sincere desire to alleviate suffering on this planet. My services are unique in they are a reflection of my inner work and combine what I have learned on my healing path alongside the extensive professional training I have received throughout my adult life. Every time I see a client heal in ways they didn’t know were possible, I feel an incredible amount of gratitude that I get to do what I love in this lifetime. I sincerely believe that those efforts help alleviate the broader suffering in this very hurting world.

I am currently accepting new psychotherapy clients in the state of Colorado. I also have availability in my 1:1 psycho-spiritual mentorship services. I am most excited about my new program called Living Fierce: A Workshop to Honor Sacred Rage. This interactive online workshop will begin on October 2nd and run for six weeks. It is an opportunity for women to find meaningful ways to connect with the understandable rage of living through these times.
