Hi Mak Mockuhmenace, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Yo, I’m Mak Arte Koltrane my Channeling name is Mockuhmenace. My story begins at The Renaissance my first EP “The Art of Transition Initiation and Rebirth” released in 2019. My art is a reflection of my deepest soul work and through my expression of self, I have begun an era. That same year I bought my company Menace Port LLC. I released singles in 2021 including In The Booth(pieces hit)’ a track loaded with bars and rhymes being a Menace In The Booth. Spuriktal’ a wicked song for sippin 40s at the CrossRoads, and Writers Formation “a tale of the unspoken”. Each telling a small explicit piece of my story. I am profoundly developed in words and through my gift of gab, I can reflect and grow inside and outside of myself. I founded Porter Prerogative a non-profit for developing sustainable housing that same year. I shot my first video in 2022 and I am preparing to release my first album this year Restorative’. This album is a period of expansion and wealth. Restorative captures textures into colors and words that come to life. It represents indulgence after “The Renaissance” and makes synapses cocktails with the artistry demonstrated in Spuriktal, Writers Formation, and In The Booth’. That is how I got to where I am today
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road is filled with hurdles, it all depends on how you train to get through them. It isn’t meant to be easy its meant to be embraced. Each hurdle that comes up is an opportunity to learn and do better or stand solid in my knowledge of self and truth. The obstacles that I face in self are the struggles along the road not how smooth it is.

I specialize in fuckin shit up whether that be spitting over an 808 track or writing a blues melody, building Creative Reparation Programs, or designing sustainable housing projects. I challenge the things around me, and I’m dedicated to the world I want to see. I am most proud of how my art and brands are a reflection of me. I am set apart by my authentication as a soul in my human experience. My services range from full songwriting and features to building creative reparation programs for PWI and organizations.
