Meet Chris Olson of Elevation Med Spa in South Denver (Lone Tree)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Olson.

Chris, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had a passion for helping others and doing my part to encourage those around me succeed. Having a career that fuels this passion and gives me a sense of pride in my work helps me push myself to new heights.
When I began in the healthcare industry, I was fortunate to work for an incredible company that taught me the importance of approaching each day with the understanding that what we do makes a difference in the lives of those we serve.

As a teenager, I had pretty bad acne, and it wasn’t until I took medication that it finally cleared up. There was a distinct difference in how I perceived myself through that experience, and I truly believe the outcome of taking the medication made a huge impact on my wellbeing.

It was this understanding and belief that drives me to help provide an opportunity to those seeking help.
Working in the pharmaceutical business was a great building block for my career, but I have always wanted to open my own business. Once I found the perfect fit, I knew it was time to make it happen.

I decided to create a place for people to come to improve their health, wellness, and beauty. To give them the opportunity to experience the same positive impact I felt, and the joy that follows when you feel great about yourself.

Elevation Med Spa is more than a place to get Botox, it was created to take a holistic approach to aesthetics, where our practitioners take pride in creating a well-rounded plan.

We believe the health and wellness component is as important as the beauty aspect. Our team educates and encourages our clients to take a holistic approach to their aesthetic procedures to ensure they get the most out of each service. We take the time to understand the needs of each client because everyone deserves an individualized plan. Through consultations, we establish the appropriate plan to achieve the best possible outcome.

Now that we are up and running, I am energized every day to grow our business into something special. My dream was to create this beautiful space for others to benefit, and now the fun has just begun.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We are four months into our new venture and it has been incredible seeing the progress and dream come to life. I have a better appreciation for why everyone says starting a business is so difficult. There is no off switch. As my family can attest, I am always thinking of ways to improve and grow our business. In my old world, there were entire departments to help solve problems or support new ideas. However, the beauty and challenge of Elevation are figuring out each issue ourselves. This allows us to determine the direction we go and how we get there. Being able to make the decisions quickly allows us to stay on top and provide the best experience to our clients.

We spend a lot of time working as a team to deliver the experience and results our clients expect. In our business, it is essential the process and procedures are replicated perfectly each time to produce the results we expect and the clients deserve. This all starts with consistent communication and diligently working to continually improve our processes to get the best outcome. It takes time, but we continue to push ourselves to ensure we are constantly improving ourselves and our process to maintain the highest level of service.

Elevation Med spa – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Elevation is a medical aesthetic spa focusing on our client’s health, wellness, and beauty. We understand aesthetics is a very personal choice, and each client receives an individualized plan to ensure the best possible outcome to achieve the results they desire.

We offer a full array of facial aesthetic services such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, Microneedling, hair restoration, and PRP treatments. Also, our Nurse Practitioner, Karen, is certified to perform the popular Vampire Facial. This is an incredible service which uses Platelet Rich Plasma to stimulate collagen and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. We get more positive feedback from clients who are amazed at the incredible difference they see in the health and complexion of their skin after receiving the Vampire Facial treatment.

There are a number of options to help you get the look you desire, and we are here to help you determine the best procedure to give you that youthful look. An example of this is PDO threading. Our Nurse Practitioner uses dissolvable sutures to improve problematic areas by stimulating collagen and providing an additional structure which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The benefits from PDO threading fall into the Wow category as clients are blown away at the long-term benefits they see from the threads.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Opening Elevation Med Spa has been an incredible experience and the most exciting part of my career. What I am most proud of though is the team we have assembled and the level of service we provide. We are a service business focused on creating the best outcomes for our clients, and we promise to work tirelessly to ensure they get the highest level of care and results they deserve. This will be an amazing journey and I look forward to growing Elevation Med Spa into a reputable business that consistently gives back to our community.
