Hi Heather, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been on so many different roads that eventually led me where I am today. Life is not a straight and direct path, but it’s made up of many twists, turns, curves, and detours along the way, ultimately making the journey the scenic route. My journey starts with music. Ever since I was a little girl, growing up in the Chicagoland area, I always loved singing, dancing, performing, etc. In my teens I began my adventure into the music industry. It began with small things like simply participating in my school’s show choir and doing community musical theater. Eventually I was writing my own music, going into the recording studio, releasing my own EP, doing my own shows, etc. In my 20’s this led me to Los Angeles, where I lived for 15 years. With time, age, and experience it eventually led to burn out and in 2015 I left the music industry and kinda just flew under radar walking dogs, since I’m a dog lover and dog mom myself. I wasn’t sure if walking dogs was going to be long term or not. But it was the season I needed in between. It gave me a little bit more peace and security that I didn’t receive from the music business. It was also very therapeutic. But it was missing one thing – creativity. The creative spark in me had been flickering out by not exercising that muscle as often as I had when I was doing music while walking dogs. In 2020 the pandemic happened, and the world got flipped upside down. My life was no exception to this happening. I lost all of my dog walking clients during that time either due to my clients losing their jobs or working from home. Either way, they were no longer in need of my services.
I had an opportunity in that moment to get creative and think outside of the box. What was I going to do next in this new and weird world we all found ourselves in? I had always been a spiritual person, but it hadn’t dawned on me to monetize those giftings until 2020. That’s when my social media presence really began to transform as I started posting collective tarot and oracle card readings on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Eventually I created my website specifically for my services regarding readings and clients started coming in. That creative spark in me began being put to use on creating my own oracle decks that I not only use in my readings, but are also available for purchase for anyone who wants to add them to their own personal collection. During the time of this new season not only did I begin this new business, but also on a personal note relocated to the Denver area. In the fall of 2023 I opened up a Patreon as well so even if people didn’t need a private reading they could enjoy and partake in weekly and daily collective card pulls, strictly for Patreon members. If someone had told me 20 years ago I would be running a business in the business of light and love through spiritual growth I wouldn’t have believed you! It’s been quite the long transformation from pop artist to soul coach, but I find there are parallels between the two and both still much creativity within them, which is a huge part of who I am.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wish you could hear me audibly laughing right now in response to this question. Smooth road? I’m sorry, I wouldn’t know what a smooth road is at all. Truthfully, I don’t think most people do. Majority of people, myself included have without a doubt encountered at least one struggle along the way, if not many more. There’s a lot of backstory behind some of these struggles, but here are a few I’ve experienced:
1. Homelessness
2. Mental health crises
3. Bankruptcy
4. Loss/betrayal of friendships
5. Unwelcome criticism
In the present moment, if I’m being completely transparent, I feel the current obstacle I’m dealing with is the need to be seen. My business is just me. I’m a solopreneur. I don’t have a whole team behind me or a big budget. The spirituality space online is undoubtedly overly saturated. It wasn’t when I first launched. But with increasingly overwhelming competition and only operating with a limited budget, I can only push myself out there so far to be seen and heard as a trusted voice within the spiritual community. While of course I examine who my audience is, utilize SEO, hashtag usage, do keyword research, pay for ads here and there, etc I do find my content can get lost in the shuffle, which is rough when you’re trying to earn a regular client base. I believe in the content I create and push out. I know it’s quality work. Quality may be part of the problem. Quality is frequently overlooked in a quantity world, especially in the line of work I do. Everyone wants to know their quick fix of if their person of interest is thinking of them. Rarely do people want to get deeper to do the inner healing work, where it won’t even matter whether that person of interest is thinking of us or not. I know I’m not the only one who experiences this. Everyone is trying to surf the algorithm waves, and sometimes you get knocked down. Will I give up in these moments of frustration? No way, I’ve overcome larger obstacles. I will overcome this too. This, like all the others too, shall pass. I just have to remain consistent and stay focused in not being deterred by distractions. This is current obstacle I face in the present moment.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I ultimately provide spiritual guidance to help others achieve their dreams and live their best lives. This spiritual guidance comes in the form of tarot and oracle card readings, charm casting readings, pendulum readings, some astrology, and overall life coaching. I’m not a medium, so I do not speak with the dead, however through a combination of my own intuition and tools just mentioned I’m able to tap into just about any situation energetically to assist those on their journey. Popular topics people come to me for are career guidance, love/relationship questions, life purpose, family, friendships, relocation related questions, even subjects about their pets, and more! I do not get into health or legal related questions, but most things are not off the table. Truthfully the most popular thing people come to me for are love and relationship related questions in search of guidance. So my readings on a collective level do usually cater to the twin flame community. If someone is seeking one on one guidance, that’s exactly what my personal readings available on my website are for.

While there are many tarot readers out there, not everyone creates their own oracle decks. Additionally, not every reader has a community outlet for growth and connection. I feel the answers in life come through much more than a simple reading, but it comes with daily work and interactions. This is why I feel it’s important to offer more than one type of service/product in what I do. No one should feel alone in life’s journey. We should all feel encouraged, safe, and supported. What was your favorite childhood memory?
Do I have to pick just one? I feel blessed that I can think of so many it’s hard to narrow it down to only one. I’ll mention a few of the highlights that really stand out. My dad passed away from cancer when I was 13, so all of my favorite childhood memories involve him still being alive and all of us together as a family. We frequently had family vacations growing up. I still remember that first trip to Disneyland when I was 5 years old. I was so elated, I remember telling my parents after that trip that one day I was going to live next door to Mickey Mouse. Little did I know 5 year old me was manifesting. Granted, it happened a number of years later, but I did eventually move to California and I did have a Disneyland annual pass when I lived there, so Mickey Mouse basically did become my neighbor!
We also took spring vacation ski trips to Colorado every year. We have a lot of family friends here, so it was an easy trip to make as we always had somewhere to stay for free. It was my dad’s dream to move to Colorado one day after he retired. Sadly he never made it to retirement, but I feel more connected to him living here in Colorado now, in part, in his honor. Those spring vacation ski trips were pretty memorable and I feel fortunate we did them year after year. Finally, there’s Christmas time and the holidays as a whole. We didn’t travel for Christmas and were always at home, but oh my goodness, there was always something so magical about that time of the year as a child. My dad was kinda like Clark Griswald, and in a lot of ways I inherited his passion for Christmas, so that’s why I I’m kinda like Buddy the Elf around the holidays and am indefinitely a Christmas enthusiast.
