Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Byarlay.
Hi Tracy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up playing sports and in the gym. I started my career in the fitness industry. After a number of injuries myself, I started to explore treatment modalities for myself. With my knowledge of fitness and a list of my own injuries, I found treating others came second nature to me. Having had several many injuries myself, I could relate to athletes as well as others not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Have evolved in my career to working with mental and emotional trauma stored in the body. It’s been a powerful and rewarding direction. I treat a number of athletes of all levels, from children to professional athletes. As well as anyone dealing with chronic and accrue pain patterns and injuries.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve faced a few challenges through my career, and each has shaped me into being a better provider for my clients by learning through experience.
I had a TBI several years ago that took many years to heal from. That was a hard knock education in many ways. That was when I learned through a lot of personal experience, how mental and emotional trauma is stored in the Fascial system and often plays a big role in chronic pain.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
For over two decades, I’ve blended clinical expertise with personal experience to develop an integrative approach to healing. My work bridges the physical and emotional layers of recovery, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, release what’s been stored, and restore balance.
I believe healing is not just about fixing what’s broken—it’s about listening to what the body has been trying to say all along.
How do you define success?
I define success by how I show up. Healing from the TBI was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. The impact on myself, my business, my family—was tremendous. I found for me, it was all about in personal integrity. I stared a mantra when in the pit of it all, “The only way out is through.” There was no short cut to healing. All I could do was show up, and do my best. Now that I’m on the other side, I can see the blessing. Trust the process.
