Hidden Gems: Meet Megan Lane of Tumble HAUS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Lane.

Hi Megan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Tumble HAUS was created by Reiva Cruz and Yonatan Gonzalez in 2019. They had a vision of creating a fun place for kids and parents alike. Their primary focus was bringing the community together with their slogan, ” back to community, it’s a thing.” They created a community haven for family play, birthday parties, structured classes, happy hours, and so much more.

I (Megan Lane) purchased Tumble HAUS in July 2025. I fell in love with Tumble HAUS as a wonderful, fun, and safe place to bring my young children. When it came up for sale, I knew that this was my calling. I have a strong foundation in early childhood education and child development. With a Master’s Degree in Human Development Education and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, I am passionate about nurturing little ones with care, curiosity, and connection. My vision for Tumble HAUS is deeply rooted in playful learning and inclusive community-building.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our biggest obstacle has been working on our liquor license. There are so many requirements that go into this. I am happy to say we should be approved and serving beer and wine again in November.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Tumble HAUS is your community haven for family play and connection. We are Denver’s only tumbling play cafe featuring large tumbling mats made for jumping off, climbing to the top of, and rolling! We have a balance beam, two silks for the ultimate swinging experience, a trampoline, a ladder, monkey bars, and rings to practice your best acrobatic skills. Tumble HAUS is all yours when you’re here. We’ve got sensory toys, books, games, crafts, and a whole lot of space to run out all that energy in during these open tumble sessions. It’s the perfect place for free play, allowing for children to explore and discover all on their own.

We are known for our fun vibe, family social club, and community values, highlighted by a one-of-a-kind artist piece on the outside of our building by Pat Milbery.

Drop in anytime for open tumble, structured classes, happy hours, birthday parties, summer camps, and more. NO MEMBERSHIPS are required – just come as you please and join the fun!

We’re pretty famous for throwing an epic party. And even though they are mostly for kids, it sure doesn’t have to be. We host all kinds of parties! Birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals… the list goes on, and we’re here for it!

Happy Hours in our HAUS have become a VIBE. We can all agree that the time between daycare/school and dinner is always the most challenging for us as parents. We call it the “Witching Hour” and that is why we’ve made it a little bit easier on all of us. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we offer open tumble sessions from 4pm-6pm. Meet up with friends, have a drink, and let the kids run wild while you take a much needed breather outside of your Haus.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. One of my favorite childhood memories was Sunday morning family bike rides. We used to ride our bikes from our house down to the farmers’ market and Pearl Street. Now my family enjoys the same love of riding bikes.
