Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Josh Beaudry.
Hi Dr. Josh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Life Springs Family Chiropractic was created from lived experience, deep compassion, and a belief that true healing begins in the brain.
Dr. Josh Beaudry was first introduced to chiropractic not as a doctor, but as a child. After a car accident when he was young, his parents were searching for answers—for him and his brother—when they discovered chiropractic care. That experience changed the trajectory of his life. It wasn’t just about feeling better; it was about realizing the body’s incredible ability to heal when the nervous system is supported. That early exposure planted the seed for what would become his life’s work.
As Dr. Josh grew older, his journey deepened. Through additional car accidents and years of playing sports like hockey, he personally experienced multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). Rather than turning away from those challenges, he leaned into them—asking bigger questions about how the brain adapts, how stress accumulates, and why some people struggle to heal despite doing “all the right things.”
That curiosity, paired with a genuine desire to help others avoid feeling lost in their health journey, led him beyond traditional chiropractic and into advanced training in functional neurology and functional medicine. Education became a core value—not just for himself, but for every person he serves. Dr. Josh believes patients deserve to understand their bodies and feel empowered in their healing, not dependent or confused.
Today, Life Springs Family Chiropractic is a brain-based, community-centered practice. Care integrates brain-based chiropractic adjustments, neurofeedback, biofeedback, and photobiomodulation (laser therapy), all designed to support long-term health and resilience. Every approach is rooted in the belief that when the brain functions better, life functions better.
At its heart, Life Springs Family Chiropractic exists to serve families, educate the community, and create hope. Dr. Josh continues to learn, evolve, and lead with empathy—guided by the same purpose that started it all: helping people reconnect with their bodies and rediscover what’s possible when healing is approached with understanding, compassion, and care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. In many ways, the challenges along the way are what shaped the practice into what it is today.
When Dr. Josh Beaudry first began practicing chiropractic, his work followed a more traditional, structural-based model. The focus was on restoring proper curves in the spine—particularly the neck—based on the belief that correct structure would lead to proper neurological function and improved health. For many patients, this approach was helpful. But an experience early in his career challenged that framework.
Dr. Beaudry worked with three patients diagnosed with ALS who all had ideal cervical curves, yet their conditions continued to progress. As a critical thinker, he couldn’t ignore the disconnect. If structure alone dictated neurological health, their outcomes should have been different. That realization became a turning point—one that pushed him to question existing models and seek deeper understanding.
His search led him back to Life University in Atlanta, where he was introduced to EEGs (brain mapping) and real-time stress measurements. For the first time, he could observe the stress response as it occurred in the brain and body. What became clear was that when the stress response remains chronically activated, dysfunction and disease are more likely to express. When that response is regulated, the body has greater capacity to heal.
From there, his work evolved into a neurological-based approach to care. Rather than focusing solely on structure, he began examining how the brain adapts—or fails to adapt—to stress. This led him deeper into functional neurology, neurodevelopment, and advanced neurofeedback and brain-based therapies. With each layer of understanding, outcomes improved, particularly for patients who had exhausted other options.
Still, some cases remained complex. Dr. Beaudry recognized that underlying inflammation and physiological imbalances were sometimes preventing the brain from healing fully. Functional medicine became the missing piece, allowing him to address factors such as blood sugar regulation, hormones, gut health, and inflammatory drivers so the nervous system could respond more effectively to care.
Today, the approach used at Life Springs Family Chiropractic is the result of years of questioning, learning, and refinement. Rather than guessing, care is guided by detailed assessments of the brain, nervous system, development, and physiology to understand why someone is struggling and what their body needs to move forward.
The road has not been easy—but it has been deeply meaningful. Every challenge pushed Dr. Beaudry to learn more, think differently, and ultimately serve people better. That commitment to growth continues to guide the practice today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At its core, Life Springs Family Chiropractic is a brain-based health practice rooted in education, empowerment, and community.
Led by Dr. Josh Beaudry, the practice specializes in brain-based chiropractic, functional neurology, functional medicine, and advanced neurofeedback and biofeedback. Rather than focusing solely on pain or isolated symptoms, Life Springs Family Chiropractic centers care around how the brain and nervous system regulate the entire body—and how restoring that regulation can change a person’s health trajectory.
What truly sets Life Springs Family Chiropractic apart is that it is not a pain-based office. While many patients do experience physical relief, the primary focus is neurological function. The team works with individuals whose cases are often labeled “complex” or “difficult”—including those struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD, ADHD, neurodiversity, head injuries, autoimmune challenges, sleep disturbances, memory issues, and chronic stress-related conditions. The goal is not to manage symptoms, but to help the brain function more effectively so the body can adapt, regulate, and heal.
Many people who come to Life Springs Family Chiropractic have been told there are no answers—or have been offered medications without a clear understanding of the root cause. What the practice wants readers to know is this: there is hope. There are approaches that look deeper, ask better questions, and address the underlying neurological, developmental, and physiological patterns driving dysfunction. Life Springs Family Chiropractic exists for those who feel unheard, overlooked, or stuck, and who are ready for a more comprehensive and compassionate path forward.
Brand-wise, what the team is most proud of is their commitment to education and empowerment. Patients are not passive recipients of care—they are partners in the process. The practice places a strong emphasis on helping individuals understand their bodies, their brains, and the “why” behind their care, so they can make informed, confident decisions about their health.
Beyond services and technology, Life Springs Family Chiropractic is known for its sense of community. The environment is built on compassion, curiosity, and genuine care—for individuals, families, and the greater community. Everything the office offers is guided by one belief: when people feel supported, informed, and understood, real healing becomes possible.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
When it comes to finding mentors and building meaningful professional connections, Dr. Josh Beaudry believes simplicity and sincerity go a long way.
For mentorship, his advice is straightforward: seek out someone who is already successful in the field you want to grow in and start a genuine conversation. That might mean inviting them to lunch, asking thoughtful questions, and being honest about your desire to learn. He believes it’s okay to directly ask if someone would be willing to mentor you—and even to offer compensation if appropriate. In his experience, most people who are established in their careers genuinely want to help others grow, especially when approached with respect and curiosity.
Personally, Dr. Beaudry works with a business coach and mentor through a structured monthly mentorship. That structure allows for ongoing guidance not just in practice management, but also in leadership, patient care, and life balance. He sees mentorship as an investment—one that accelerates growth and helps avoid costly mistakes.
For networking, Dr. Beaudry emphasizes getting involved in environments where connection is intentional. This includes local meetups, professional organizations, and structured networking groups such as BNI and LeTip, as well as paid marketing or mastermind groups where members are committed to growth. He also values community-focused organizations like Rotary International, where the emphasis is on service rather than self-promotion.
At the core of his approach is a simple philosophy: growth comes from giving. Early on, that often means giving time, energy, and effort—showing up, helping others, and contributing without immediate expectation. As careers mature and time becomes more valuable, giving may shift more toward financial support or leadership—but the principle remains the same. The more you genuinely give to others and to your community, the more opportunity, connection, and growth tend to follow.
