Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my career as a registered nurse, a role that shaped how I lead, communicate, and care for people. After years in healthcare, I felt ready for a new challenge and was drawn to entrepreneurship. Three years ago, I purchased a franchise, taking a leap that allowed me to combine my clinical background with business ownership. Since then, I’ve focused on building a strong team, growing the business, and creating a culture rooted in service and trust. While my path has shifted from healthcare to entrepreneurship, the core of my work remains the same—supporting people and making a meaningful impact.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I entered business ownership while raising young children and learning an entirely new industry, which came with a steep learning curve. Opening two businesses within a ten-month period was both exciting and challenging, especially while balancing family responsibilities. I had to quickly learn how to manage time, finances, and teams, often outside of traditional work hours. There were moments of uncertainty and exhaustion, but those challenges pushed me to grow as a leader and become more resilient. Looking back, the struggles were also the moments that shaped my confidence and solidified my belief that I was capable of building something meaningful—both at home and in business.
