Alexis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
While my interest in photography began as a hobby, I ultimately channeled my artistic energy into music. However, around 2010, I joined my ex-girlfriend in the entertainment industry as an airbrush artist. In 2016, we explored adding a photo booth, and I took the lead due to my technical background. Starting with one machine in 2017, the business has steadily grown. Today, we operate with five devices, including a 360 video booth and several digital drop-off units.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting in 2017, each year brought greater success, but then 2020 occurred. Because my business is event-dependent, the pandemic shut-downs forced a year-and-a-half closure, and we essentially had to restart.
