Conversations with the Inspiring Tabby Fore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tabby Fore.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Before I start with my story, let’s talk about your story. 🙂 I want to tell you that you can be ANYTHING you want to be! I know you may hear that at times, but if you really believe it, you can achieve it! You don’t have to label yourself as one thing or stick to one career just because that is what is expected of you. You are dynamic and can pursue any goal or dream you set your mind to. You deserve what your heart desires, so go and get it! 🙂 I thought I wanted one dream, but I now know I want to pursue many of my dreams and it’s possible to do it all! 🙂 So let’s get started! Initially, I began my career as an Army Officer in the Nurse Corp after receiving a full ROTC scholarship for college. It was always a calling of mine to want to serve and help others. I was an Army Nurse for more than seven years and finished serving as a Captain. I worked as a staff and charge nurse in the cardiac units, step-down units, Same Day Surgery unit, and my favorite, the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit). However, my plans changed significantly when I started having my children and now three kids later, my plans and goals are exactly where they need to be. I always say family first, so I knew when I decided to leave the service, it was the right choice for me and my family. I wanted to raise my own children and shape them into the beautiful people we aspire them to be. Thankfully with my husband’s support, I decided to work part-time, which then led to being a full-time stay-at-home mom! And to all the mama’s out there, being a mom is the hardest, yet the most fulfilling job there is! 🙂 Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! During that time of being a stay-at-home mom, I started pursuing my passions and hobbies. I always loved fashion, so one day I decided to start a youtube channel and an Instagram page to share my passion with other like-minded people. I try to upload a video at least once a week to have some kind of an outlet and share my love of fashion, travel, and lifestyle with my subscribers! It has been such an incredible experience with all the support and friends I have made through that journey! I always knew I wanted to go back to work and the assumption would be back to nursing! However, I wanted a career where I could choose my hours, flexibility, and still be around for my kids. My husband (who is a mortgage broker) and I have always had a common passion for real estate, so the stars aligned when I decided to change my career dramatically and become a realtor! I currently work with eXp Realty and am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to yet again, help others! My husband and I are also currently working on a network to allow other agents to come together and succeed together! Stay tuned for Power Agent Network coming to your city soon! Today I am happy to say I am a proud mom, realtor, and youtuber! This is me today…enjoying the present..and looking forward to what the future brings! Thank you for taking the time to join me on this journey and let me know if there is any way I can assist you! Sending all my love!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To be completely honest, it has been a pretty smooth road as far as my career goes. I typically like to make a plan and then put my 110% into achieving it. I firmly believe in strong work ethic and putting your heart into what you do. If you do that, you’ll most certainly get what you set your mind to! I wouldn’t say it was easy, but not a struggle. Perspective is key! Make the best out of any situation! Also having support from family and friends certainly made the journey so much easier! However, I did come across struggles when it came to motherhood. Being a mom, you always want to protect your child in all aspects of their lives, but I felt that shift when I was 20 weeks pregnant with my third child. During our ultrasound appointment, JT (my husband) and I were told that our baby had an enlarged kidney. We went to a specialist until the day I delivered and were told that most likely baby Atley’s kidney would resolve on its own. Soon after our delivery, Atley was diagnosed with left hydronephrosis and referred to a nephrologist and a urologist. It did not resolve on its own. My heart instantly broke because I never would wish my baby, nor any baby, to have any discomfort and pain when he or she comes into the world. During that time, I struggled with my emotions and even at times, my faith. I stayed up endless nights crying and praying because I could not “protect” my sweet baby Atley. However, I kept praying and tried to put it all into perspective. I kept thinking ” It could be worse, so be grateful for what blessings you do have.” My family and friends were such huge support in helping me eat well and maintaining a positive attitude for myself, but for our other kids too. They told me that Atley was happy and everything will be fine! After a few tests and antibiotics daily, Atley at five months old, had two surgeries to fix her enlarged kidney. It ripped at my soul when Atley was taken into the operating room, and my husband broke down sobbing. I had no control, but to put my faith in her surgeon’s capable hands and just kept praying. Today Atley is a lively and spunky 3-year-old girl! She still will be monitored until she is at least five years old and continues to have yearly ultrasounds and check-ups with her urologist. If there is any advice I could give you is that through times that may seem difficult, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You will get through this and always keep a positive mindset because your mind is the captain to your life. You can choose to find positive in all situations and know that everything really does happen for a reason. Always have faith and reach out to people for help because that is okay! Cry, get mad, and feel your emotions because that is okay too! You are human and are stronger than you could even imagine! And for those of you having struggles in your journey with reaching your goal, just never giving up. There could be several “no’s” and that one “yes”, so don’t stop pursuing your dream. Set your goal, make a plan, and achieve it! You can do it! 🙂

What should we know about your business? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a realtor with eXp Realty specializing in luxury homes. My husband and I make videos and VLOGs to showcase the different areas to live and enjoy in Denver! We also create professional videos for our realtor friends and clients to highlight their homes! We are in the process of launching Power Agent Network to have a community of agents to come together and help others succeed! Stay tuned and follow me on IG for more information! 🙂 Our motto we live by in our business is Napolean Hill’s quote, “If it literally true you can succeed best and quickest by helping others succeed.” We truly believe in helping others and making their experience the best they deserve!

Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
My mother is my biggest inspiration, role model, and best friend! My mom has shown me what unselfish love truly means. She will always put everyone in her family first, before her own needs and wants. I definitely believe that’s why I hold the standards of FAMILY FIRST very highly. My mom has always taught me to be honest and to be straight forward with people. There is no nonsense or games involved! I am so grateful for the way she raised me because I surround myself with like-minded people that are truly genuine! Not only did she help mold my character, my mother had a huge impact on my love for fashion. She studied fashion design in college and designed clothing and modeled them during that time. She also helped in my grandmother’s wedding dress business. I used to hear stories about my mother’s dreams of being a fashion designer and look in awe at her fashion design pictures. Immediately after graduating, she chose to leave her career and life in Taiwan and moved to the US with my father. My mother was always stylish and put together. She definitely helped me create my sense of style and love for fashion! We still bond over shopping and talking about fashion! I still call her every day and thank her for making me the mother and woman I am today!
