Meet Paige Zang

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Zang.

Paige, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always been really involved in various arts (like music & dance), but I started really putting in work on my visual art when I moved out here. There are so many more opportunities & experiences available here, and I was really inspired by that. I have also found an amazing group of individuals that really push me to do my best. The support & connections I have made since I moved here have really launched me in a positive path forward in my art. I really don’t think I’d be where I am now if it wasn’t for the support and encouragement around me.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I am fortunate enough to say it’s been a pretty smooth road so far, but this is really just the beginning. So I will see where it takes me!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am an artist. I mainly do paintings on canvas & also live paint at different events in the city. I also have done a few graphic designs for some local music producers. A huge thing I’m proud of is the fact I have been able to step out of my comfort zone & do what I love in front of people & add some visual variety to the spaces around me.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is conquering any kind of struggle or bump I have in the road, and then learning, growing, & expanding in what I learned from it. Tackle one major milestone, & then go on to the next.
