Meet Sarah Grondin of Jang Skincare in Colorado Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Grondin.

Sarah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My love of skincare grew from my love of makeup. While I was in esthetician school I did wedding makeup on the side. When I started my business I did facials during the week and weddings on the weekends. I enjoyed the intricacies of skincare more so I decided to pursue it full time. Seventeen years later it’s the best decision I could have made.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
While I worked really hard in the beginning and gave alot of free facials, I honestly was super lucky. I grew up in Colorado Springs so I had alot of connections and I also hooked up with a few hairstylists that were great referrals. That was key. Every year my business grew and grew without me having to do any marketing.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I specialize in two kinds of facials… My Signature Facial and The Red Carpet Facial. Both include brow shaping and waxing, brow and lash tint and any other facial waxing needed. I think that is why I have stayed so busy over the years. It’s a one stop shop and clients can get everything tuned up in one appointment. My clients are like family and some have become dear friends of mine. I am invested in their lives and they share their stories with me. I am most proud of the relationships I have created with my clients and the quality of work I always try to maintain.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I recently moved to a well known Medi Spa in town. I wanted to offer my clients my services as well as having access to more advanced treatments like botox, fillers, lasers and micro needling. Once again clients love that they can come to one place to get all their services. And they don’t have to question if the place they go to is safe and reputable.
