Conversations with the Inspiring Jordan Bernard APRN, FNP-C

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Bernard APRN, FNP-C.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jordan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Up until July of 2018, I was a pretty regular nurse practitioner. I had worked in a few different jobs, then decided to open my own practice, a direct primary care company, with the help of a nurse practitioner colleague. I had checked off all the boxes that society tells us to need to be done to be “successful”. What I found after a year of working in my business is that being successful doesn’t equate to being fulfilled. I was achieving just for the sake of achieving and despite making a profit in the first year of business I still never had enough time, money, patients, or resources. Worst of all, I was trying to do everything by myself and felt alone. I got to a point where I was so stuck that I felt like I was going to implode.

At that time I started working with RevenueTribe. Through their proven coaching process, I learned what matters most to me, the value I bring to my clients, and I’m more aware of the negative story I tell myself so I can exchange it for my true impact. I have shifted what I do day-to-day and spend more time doing what I love and less time on things I don’t like doing. I was able to let go of tasks that don’t serve me.

Now, I work as a coach with RevenueTribe to empower healthcare providers to discover what is possible in their life and business, give them the confidence to go after what they want and provide resources so they can achieve their dreams. I envision a world where healthcare professionals are set free from the constraints of our current medical system by living in an authentic community, feeling passionate about what they do, knowing they are valued and self-assured with everything needed to execute their impact. I love working with professionals to grow and develop businesses that challenge the current landscape of healthcare and find innovative ways to improve the medical system, executing strategic steps to incorporate the best medicine has to offer in ways that make healthcare better, faster, and more affordable.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The last few years have been incredibly rewarding, but also very challenging. It can be uncomfortable to spend time with yourself, look inward, and bring awareness to what is currently limiting you. It is also incredibly freeing to understand that these beliefs are not you and do not define or control you. Best advice I can give is that abundance and impact will follow when you live in your passion and claim your value.

Take the time to know you. Honor your feelings and trust your instincts. Your past story doesn’t have to dictate your future direction. Get a coach so you can become aware of what might be limiting you and discover what matters most to you so you can charge at full force toward a life fulfilled!
