Meet Trailblazer Lindsay Saggau

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Saggau.

Lindsay, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was introduced to chiropractic at a young age. All through my high school and college golf career, I received maintenance adjustments. It was only a few years ago that I started having migraines–sometimes getting them 4-5 times a week! I was under regular chiropractic care while working at a general chiropractic office and noticed that my migraines would sometimes get worse after a manual (hands on) adjustment. I felt hopeless!

Fortunately, a family member suggested I try Atlas Orthogonal and I was so impressed with how it relieved my symptoms. I felt as though my life was back to normal! At that point, I knew that I wanted to become certified in this technique and share it with everyone. I’m so thankful to have been introduced to Atlas Orthogonal and to have been taught by the developer, Dr. Roy Sweat.”

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting your own business/practice is a rough ride, but definitely worth it. Just keeping at it and really believing and loving what you do will help you so much.

We’d love to hear more about Balanced Atlas & Migraine Center.
I specialize in treating headaches, migraines and neck pain with a specific and gentle chiropractic technique called Atlas Orthogonal. I am one of three doctors in our state that is board certified in this technique.

Atlas Orthogonal is a specialty technique within the chiropractic field. Its a safe and painless correction to the first bone in the neck, which restores the body’s natural ability to heal. The Atlas Orthogonal instrument is designed to provide precise treatment based on information obtains from imaging. The instrument delivers a light percussion sound wave that is rarely felt by the patient.

This technique is truly amazing and has helped so many people. We see a lot of patients that have been in car accidents or suffered a whiplash type of injury, as well as people that suffer from headache and migraines.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mom, of course, will always be an inspiration (and also my dad). My work ethic definitely comes from both of them.
