Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Jabori.
Amanda, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I got started in modeling three and a half years ago in Denver. It’s been a great experience that has helped taught me to love my body. I started with photography, learned how to walk for the shows here for runway, and have been published in a number of magazines.
Has it been a smooth road?
It can be a struggle when someone doesn’t find you as a fit to what they are looking for in a model, you start doubting yourself but that’s the industry. You pick yourself back up and get back to what you love.
Please tell us about your work.
I have taken a step back from runways, they’re really fun but a very long process with hair and makeup, modeling for photos has been my main pursuit. My personal accomplishment was being published three times within my first year of modeling and one was a cover. It’s amazing to see the difference from the first year to now.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that you can travel back and forth from the city and mountains in a day. The traffic isn’t my favorite but you get that in any big city.
