Today we’d like to introduce you to Josh Morre.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Josh. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Bluprint started in 2018 as a passion project, to play music outside of the genre we were playing in other groups. It quickly spawned into our full time gig and now we exclusively focus on Bluprint as far as music projects go. Our goal has always been to play music that we love, in hopes that we connect with fans that love it too! Myself, Taylor (drummer) and Tyler (Bass) have been playing music together on and off for over a decade. It was great to jump back into my pop punk roots with the two dudes that it all started with back in 8th grade. You’ll hear in our songs how we talk about a better tomorrow and hope for the future, because it helps us get through those tough days as well. Life can beat you down a little bit but it always seems like something is there to lift you back up as long as you are looking for it. We want to convey a fun and loving message to all of our fans. Don’t be afraid to let your hair down a bit and jump back into the things that make you most happy.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely not always a smooth road, but always worth it. Whether it be lineup changes, tough tours, scheduling all the moving parts of a band, things can get a little crazy. But we are firm believers that if you hold the same feelings and thoughts that got you to start the band, and the love you have for it, it puts things into a perspective that none of us would rather be doing anything else.
We’d love to hear more about your music.
We are Bluprint. We are a pop-punk/alternative rock band from Denver, CO. We are most proud that people tune into our music and find an escape that they needed, even if it for only a couple minutes.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Ever since touring with Mark Rose from Spitalfield, he has played a role of “band dad”. He’s been there through countless things to help with advice. Always been a phone call away and we can’t thank him enough for that. We are stoked to have him producing our next record! Taylor Hahn at Hahn Audio has been a huge help as well. Having a top-notch recording studio that cares about the artists that come in, in our own back yard, has been integral to the successes we have seen so far.
