We recently had the chance to connect with Anne Liebman and have shared our conversation below.
Anne, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Pickleball! Since it’s been nice out, I’ve been enjoying getting outside and playing pickleball with my husband. It’s such a fun sport that we’ve gotten pretty into over the past couple years. We always meet new people when we go, and just have a ball. Good exercise, good vibes, fresh air and fun.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello! I’m Anne Liebman — founder, CEO and lead stylist of SheStylesCo, a Denver-based style consulting company helping women and men step into the elevated version of themselves, authentically and confidently, through wardrobe & style.
At SheStylesCo, we guide our clients through our signature style up-level process that’s highly personal, collaborative, and transformational. Our work goes far beyond curating closets and outfits — we help people reconnect with their sense of self, redefine how they want to be seen, and then express that vision with intention through wardrobe and styling. It’s not just about wearing clothes that look good — it’s about understanding what feels good and learning how to style those pieces in a way that aligns with who you are and where you’re going. What makes SheStylesCo unique is this focus on the why. We don’t just tell you what to wear — we teach you how to understand your style, how to dress for your body, your goals, and how to make intentional choices that reflect who you really are.
My background is in creative marketing, but I knew I was meant to build something with deeper impact. I created SheStylesCo to empower people to step into their elevated, most authentic selves — one beautifully styled look at a time.
We work with people at all different stages in life — career growth, reinvention, motherhood, post-breakup glow-up, you name it. The common denominator among each and every person we work with is this: They have all reached a point in their life where they’re ready to invest in themselves, and we help them do that by unlocking their personal style in a way that’s sustainable, elevated, and fully aligned with who they’re becoming.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was the responsible one. The achiever. The girl who took on a lot early, who stayed focused, followed the rules, and worked hard to do things “right.” I wanted to make people proud, to succeed, to be seen as capable—because I was. But underneath all that, I was also someone with a deep inner drive. A creative spark. A vision for something more.
Even before I fully understood it, I had a strong sense of self and an eye for what made things—and people—stand out. That version of me didn’t dream of just checking boxes. She wanted to create something meaningful, something beautiful, something of her own. She didn’t have the words for it then, but she’s the reason I built SheStylesCo. It’s not just about style—it’s about reclaiming the power to define yourself on your own terms.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
“You are allowed to want more.”
More creativity. More freedom. More fulfillment.
Even if it doesn’t look like the path others are taking.
Even if it means starting over.
Even if no one else gets it yet.
Trust that the things that light you up—your eye for beauty, your love of style, your desire to make people feel seen—aren’t just hobbies or side notes. They’re clues. They’re yours. And one day, you’ll build something beautiful from them.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d probably say I care deeply about meaning, connection, and beauty — on every level.
I value authenticity, intention, and showing up fully — whether that’s in how I nurture a friendship or how I support a client. I care deeply, and really pay attention to what matters — the experience, the energy behind something, how others feel, the details that bring it all together.
My closest friends would also say I love creating beautiful experiences, paying attention to the details, and helping the people around me feel seen, supported, and confident. That’s a thread that runs through both my personal and professional life. They would likely acknowledge the Libra in me as well — always seeking harmony, beauty, and balance (sometimes to my own people-pleasing detriment, but I’ve learned to turn that into a strength.)
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
“She had this way of making people feel seen — like really seen.”
That’s what I hope they’ll say. That I helped them feel more confident, more seen, more themselves. That I had a way of bringing out what was already inside of them and reflecting it back in a way that felt beautiful, empowering, and true. That I listened deeply. That I noticed the things most people miss — the unspoken energy, the small details, the parts of someone they may have forgotten were beautiful.
I hope they’ll tell the story of a woman who built something from scratch — not just a business, but a life — rooted in passion, purpose, and personal power. Who left behind the version of herself the world told her to be and stepped fully into the woman she was always meant to become.
And I hope they remember that through style — through something as everyday as getting dressed — I helped people reconnect to themselves. That I reminded them of who they are, and showed them how to show up as her… every single day.
And maybe most of all, I hope they say I showed what’s possible when you trust yourself, honor your gifts, and choose to show up fully as who you really are.
