Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Williams. 

Hi Alyssa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started my IUI journey in 2019 and this started it all. My wife and I had been trying for about 5 years and had no luck. In 2019 we started seeing a fertility doctor and everything just happened. We started documenting our journey just because we had no one to share it with besides our eldest daughter (Analaya 21) and did not think we would be where we are today. It started by posting one TikTok and it got us to where we are today. Now we have a 21-year-old, 21-month-old (Wyatt Reign), and have been trying to have another successful IUI.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. We have struggled to get pregnant for years and then in 2019 it happened. Trying for our second IUI September 2021 and was not successful took a big toll on us and was an emotional time. Even though it was an emotional journey we are now ready to try again. So excited for our future! “Don’t be afraid to try and try again”.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an influencer and really love it. I love sharing my family and our story. Having people to share it with is such an amazing experience. I am proud of myself being able to share our emotional journey with all the bad and good parts and still be able to go strong. Opening up about our journey to pregnancy being an LGBTQIA+ family.

Yes! Our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Just having an outlet to express feelings and what being a mom can mean. Talking about things some people don’t or are afraid of saying.
