Today, we’d like to introduce you to Amber Dyer.

Hi Amber, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I always wanted to open a daycare to be able to raise my own children and to be able to spend as much time with them as I possibly could. Unfortunately, I never had a space that I believed was big enough to accomplish this until I moved into the home I am in now.

I can happily say that I have been open since November 2018, and as each year passes, I am just becoming more successful. With the help of the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council (coaches Mary and Melissa), my licensing representative (Ralph), Clayton Early Learning, and of course, all my friends and family, we have been able to strive for new lengths and heights with quality care in my home.

Hopefully, one day, we can put all of this greatness into a center.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Overall, I would say that it has been a smooth road. There, of course, have been some bumps in the road, as there are with any business venture that is possible.

I feel as long as you have the support that is needed and people who are willing to help you along the way, anything is possible. I will say that I have a very large support system, and I am thankful every day that I have who I have in my life.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I like to think that I am a very creative person, with this being said I cannot have my space stay the same for too long before it starts to drive me a little insane.

LOL – I am constantly thinking of new ways and ideas to keep my area/space fresh, warm, and, most importantly, inviting. I also love coming up with new ideas for crafts and themes for the children to be able to experience each month as the year passes by.
