Today we’d like to introduce you to Amberly Taylor.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My dad is Thomas Landreth, #FreeThomasLandreth. He spent 36yrs incarcerated n the state of Oklahoma. I spent 14yrs advocating for his freedom and was successful in obtaining his freedom 4yrs ago. During that time I would write about him and his case and others cases as well Recently my writing assisted in a murder acquittal. https://www.westword.com/author/amberly-taylor

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Many struggles my mother was killed in 2009 still unsolved my son is going through a trial right now at 16 my 10yr old is going through a trial as well. my dad is back incarcerated and I now have a felony for harboring a fugitive for not turning my 26yr old son into the police . I am a 4th generation prison kid my kids are 5th generation.
