Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Berg
Hi Andrew, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For years, my business partner, Todd Reed, and I would connect over watches. Todd was more fond of the smaller, gentlemanly pieces, whereas I enjoyed larger, more complicated watches. This contrast made for some great conversations and has been a fun part of our journey as we started taking the idea of starting a business together more seriously. When the opportunity formally presented itself, we decided to take the plunge and turn our shared passion into something more tangible.
What started as a shared enthusiasm has now become a mission to curate unique vintage timepieces and share them with a community that appreciates the artistry and history behind each piece. We’re still learning and growing, but we’re driven by a genuine love for what we do and a desire to offer something special to the vintage watch market.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We’ve been lucky to have a great journey so far. Every challenge has felt less like a roadblock and more like an opportunity to learn and get better. Of course, there have been learning curves – understanding the nuances of our market, optimizing our sourcing strategies, and refining our customer service approach. But each of those moments has been an invaluable lesson, shaping Victor Bonnaire’s present and guiding our vision for the future.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our goal is to share the joy of vintage timepieces through a beautifully curated collection. I’m proud of what we’ve created in such a short time; a place where someone can find a genuinely special and captivating watch, regardless of their budget. We believe that the magic of vintage watches should be experienced by everyone, and our passion lies in helping people discover that perfect watch that resonates with them. Beyond curation, we also offer expert servicing and repair, ensuring that these timeless pieces continue to tell their stories for years to come.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
We love connecting with collectors, enthusiasts, and those just starting their watch journey! People can support us by exploring our curated collection of vintage watches on our website (VictorBonnaire.com) or by scheduling an appointment with us in person. You can follow along with us on our social media channels (@VictorBonnaire) where we share an inside look at what we’re building right here in Boulder, Colorado.
We’re also planning numerous events throughout the year to further connect with our incredible community. We’re accessible via email and phone and would love to engage any new collaborative opportunities!
