Check Out Bri Witherow’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Witherow.

Hi Bri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I founded 3 Moons Market as one headstrong woman on a mission to create small-batch, sustainable goods with nature and wellness in mind. I am dedicated to artfully selecting and transforming fine ingredients to produce products that not only lend to your wellness but are also kind to our environment. It brings me great joy to be able to share and showcase my passion for beautifully handcrafted, all-natural, artisan goods with the community!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been relatively smooth for me thus far, thanks to the wonderful support I have both at home and in the small business community. My husband has been immensely helpful and supportive of my new artistic endeavor and is the perfect sidekick when showcasing my wares at markets! Since starting 3 Moons Market, I have met and connected with so many amazing and talented small business owners across the Front Range and garnered an awesome supportive alliance with them. Shout out to my Tiny Market Denver fam!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I personally make all of the products for 3 Moons Market meticulously, in small batches, by hand. This allows me to really customize formulas and enhance recipes at a very personal level. All of my creations are cruelty-free and sustainably made and packaged. I use all-natural raw ingredients from ethical sources to create and craft anything from skincare & soaps to candles & jewelry.

In my free time, on the side of 3 Moons Market and my other part-time gig, I delight in toying around with art. I’m basically the Queen of Crafts!! Some of my favorite pastimes include needle felting, embroidery, yarn spinning, photography, and micro-painting (to name a few!). I also play around with a pottery wheel from time to time and have enjoyed doing ceramics since I was a child. I love teaching others to make art, so if you ever need any pointers, look me up!

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’m not historically a big risk-taker in life. However, there’s always a bit of a risk in starting one’s own business. The idea that people may not want to buy my work was initially looming over my head before I started this endeavor, but I’m glad I pushed it aside and took the risk of founding my own LLC because it has been immensely gratifying!
