Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryson Fields.

Hi Bryson, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My favorite snack has always been chips and salsa. As my taste for Mexican food became more refined I realized that what I had always eaten was mediocre at best. I was introduced to a new recipe in 2008 that made me a bit of a salsa snob.

For the next several years I brought my salsa to BBQs, potlucks, and work until friends and coworkers started asking me if they could buy some and suggesting that I start a business. After getting let go from my job during COVID I took the leap and Hell Yeah Salsa was born.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I had no idea what I was getting myself into until I had no choice but to push forward. I took some online courses, leased a commercial kitchen and luckily had my fiance, sister and one of my best friends help me get started and even had my niece working for me for a year. It’s not easy even now, but every time someone says Hell Yeah to me it motivates me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I know that food is what keeps us all going, but it can also slow us down or even make us sick if we aren’t eating right. I believe that food should be all-natural, preservative-free, and simple. We use all fresh ingredients, and locally source whenever possible. We don’t use additives, fillers, or anything that you can’t pronounce and recognize.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love it when someone tries one of my products for the first time and smiles and says Hell Yeah. I love doing farmers’ markets and demos at the stores that carry my products and I get to see people’s faces light up after they try them.
