Today we’d like to introduce you to Cambree Hall

Hi Cambree, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I had always had a love for photography and was the kind of girl who was always taking photos and videos. I would take it to school events as well as horse shows Id be competing in. Little did I know I could make a living with this dream, so I started college with the idea of pursuing a nursing degree. Towards the end of my first semester I felt nursing was not for me and was talking with a friend about what I would want to do. The topic of photography and videography came up. We talked about how we would be a photo and video team for weddings. I then changed my major the next day and pursued my dream. I got my first camera and the rest is history. I now have all of my own gear and have even been helping some other photographers get started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. I started my business in Arizona as I was going to school there, so once I started again in Colorado it was a slow process to build my business back up. It’s also been hard to learn about the slow times within the year and ways to continue to build my business during those slow times.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in photography and videography for weddings and western lifestyle. I am proud to continue to grow and give more exposure to the western way of life and I truly believe the way I capture that sets me apart from others. I capture the emotion of a cowboy before a ride or the gentleness of a horse. This has also translated into weddings, where I am able to capture beautiful emotions between couples.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I truly want to be know for my kindness. I understand its a crazy world and the profession I am in can be drama filled, but I want to be set apart with my kindness. I understand not everyone will like my work or agree with how I capture things, which is why I offer recommendations of photographers or videographers they may like better. I understand that people may not be able to afford me, which is why I always try to find a way to make it easier when paying, by setting up payment plans or possibly throwing in a discount here or there. I believe being kind will get me far and is one of the most important parts of my business.
