Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Fiadonu.

Hi Christian, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Pastor Christian Fiadonu. I am the Pastor of Word Faith Chapel Int. Church. I had my first encounter with God when I gave my life to Christ while studying for a math degree in college in 1991. I was reading the book of Ruth in the Bible when I had this encounter with God. During this encounter, God told me that He was calling me into the work of ministry. Soon after, I established a Christian fellowship for students on campus, which I led until I graduated. Shortly after graduation, I taught high school math and volunteered part-time as an associate pastor of a local evangelical church in Ghana, West Africa, for a season. Then, God called me full-time to plant a new local evangelical church in another location. By the grace of God, after successfully planting and pastoring this church for a season, He called me to the United States, where I attended Faith Bible Institute and Denver Seminary in Denver, Colorado. I graduated with a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis on pastoral counseling in 2008. Over the years, the Lord has led me to teach His people how to put their faith in His Word so they can live out who they are in Christ, fulfill His destiny for their lives, and influence the world around them with principles of His kingdom. The Lord has laid a solid and tested foundation, and He is now leading me to start a new local evangelical church here in Lakewood, Colorado, to continue equipping His people to apply His Word to their lives and advance His kingdom.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been challenges in terms of cultural barriers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an under shepherd of Jesus Christ, the chief shepherd. My passion is hands-on, one-on-one care for God’s people. Using biblical principles, I give spiritual direction to individuals and help them navigate the challenges and crises they encounter in life. I also like teaching the bible.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Investing in personal spiritual growth and trusting in God’s perfect timing.
