Hi DaMario, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Since the age of 9, I’ve been captivated by the magic of storytelling through videos and photos. I vividly recall orchestrating epic battles with my toys, setting the stage, and pressing play on my trusty CD player as I grabbed my camera and started rolling. That childhood spark ignited a lifelong passion for videography, photography, and all things creative.

My journey became more focused in middle school, where I joined a school program with a YouTube channel, consistently creating videos that garnered thousands of views. In high school, I dove deeper, joining video production classes to bring my own stories to life, later expanding my skills through TV broadcasting and advanced independent study courses focusing on screenplays and storytelling.

After high school, I skipped college, confident in my path. I supported myself with various jobs while taking on freelance video projects to keep my passion alive. In 2020, amid a global pandemic, I founded my company, World Wonders, LLC. While balancing a full-time job, I built my business from the ground up. By 2021, I was managing another video company, gaining invaluable experience in shooting, editing, sales, and marketing.

In 2023, I took the leap to pursue my business full-time. It’s been an incredible journey—challenging, rewarding, and endlessly inspiring. I view my profession as a continuous learning experience; the world of storytelling evolves every second, and I’m committed to evolving with it. This is more than a career for me—it’s a lifelong love for creative expression.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but the challenges have shaped me into who I am today. There were moments when I doubted the quality of my work, battling the feeling that it wasn’t “good enough.” Over time, I learned to embrace the fact that perfection is subjective and to welcome constructive criticism as a tool for growth.

Another significant hurdle has been navigating the complexities of running a business on my own. Without formal training in business operations, I’ve had to learn everything through hands-on experience, trial and error. It’s been a steep learning curve, but also one I deeply enjoy. Every challenge brings new lessons, and those lessons fuel both my passion and my resilience.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in visual storytelling through both videography and photography, embracing a wide range of projects to keep my creativity flowing and avoid being confined to a specific “genre.” I’ve worked on business promos, commercials, weddings, documentaries, music videos, and much more. Each project brings new challenges and ideas, and I find inspiration in how concepts from one area can influence and enhance another.

One of my proudest achievements has been taking the leap to dedicate myself to this passion full-time. It was a risk, but I’d rather embrace the challenge than live with the question of “what if.” That decision has allowed me to pour my heart and energy into this craft, and it’s been an incredible journey so far.

What truly sets me apart is my approach and who I am as a person. I thrive on collaboration, sharing in the excitement and passion of creating something meaningful together with my clients. My focus on detail, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning ensures that every project is unique and impactful. I take the time to understand my clients’ visions and work tirelessly to bring them to life.

With an early start in video production and years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a strong foundation and a versatile skill set. Whether it’s crafting a cinematic wedding film, telling a powerful brand story, or capturing a one-of-a-kind moment, I approach every project with care, enthusiasm, and a deep love for what I do. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion and purpose.

I’d love to share, especially my work and passion but more importantly, I want to encourage readers to pursue their own passions wholeheartedly. Whatever dream or goal you have, take the leap. Don’t let fear hold you back or leave you wondering “What if.” Life is a gift, and it’s meant to be lived boldly, doing what you love.

Yes, the journey may come with challenges, and failure is often part of the process. I’ve faced my own setbacks, but each one has taught me valuable lessons and made me stronger. Embrace the risks, learn from the falls, and keep moving forward. The rewards of chasing your passion far outweigh the fear of trying.
