Today we’d like to introduce you to Dylan Wilkerson.
Hi Dylan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my fitness journey back in 2016 when I was absolutely tired of feeling like I wasn’t going to make it to the age of 21. I had found the gym when I was at my wits end with everything. I had felt so lost, so lonely and very unwanted. I turned to the gym not thinking it would one save my life but two turn me into the version of myself I had lost so long ago.
No one should ever have to go through life and the hard tribulations we go through alone. I hope to walk through and help others in the walk of their fitness journey. I want to make you feel loved, wanted, seen, and heard whatever helps you move forward and not backward.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It most definitely has not been the smoothest road. I have met many obstacles that I still have yet to overcome. With the help of others, I am able to overcome financial struggles as well as emotional ones. Support has been the biggest helper throughout my process.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am here to help you find yourself again. If you already have, amazing! Let’s get closer to your final form! I am here as your personal hype beast! Your friend when you need a shoulder but also your coach!!
I will be pushing you past lengths you thought you never could. Out of a tiny comfort zone into a big one!!
I specialize in fitness and am getting my certification for nutrition. I am most proud of being able to help others find their final form and work towards it. I for so long hated who I was, how I looked etc and was over it. I want to help others not want to give up and just let life happen to them.
What sets me apart from others is transparency… I will for sure hop on my story when I’m having a bad day and scream it out or vent to you all. That’s what it’s there for!! We are in no way perfect or even close and Instagram is all a highlight reel. I’m preaching to the choir though cause I suffer from FOMO just like anyone else.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
