Ekhlas, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my career as a pharmacist with a passion for improving patient care. Over time, I saw gaps in access, education, and simple wellness solutions, which led me to create Loli Med and eventually become the owner of DNA Pharmacy. Entrepreneurship pushed me to think beyond traditional pharmacy and build products and services that truly support people’s health. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m excited to keep growing and expanding what we do for our community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most entrepreneurs in healthcare, I had to navigate big learning curves — from regulations and operations to funding and product development. Balancing the responsibilities of being a clinician and a business owner added another layer of challenge. There were moments of uncertainty, long hours, and setbacks that forced me to adapt quickly. But every struggle taught me resilience, sharpened my vision, and ultimately strengthened what I’m building.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I combine pharmacy care with wellness innovation. At DNA Pharmacy, I focus on personalized counseling and community-focused care. With LoliMed, I create practical products that make wellness easier and more accessible. I’m proud of bridging my clinical background with entrepreneurship and bringing fresh solutions to healthcare. What sets me apart is my focus on education, creativity, and truly supporting patients beyond the prescription.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that growth happens outside of comfort. Stepping into entrepreneurship as a pharmacist required patience, resilience, and a willingness to figure things out as I went. Nothing unfolds overnight, but consistency and adaptability make all the difference.
