My journey as Hustle Jamez began with a passion for music and entrepreneurship. I’ve always believed in the power of self-expression and hard work, which is why I launched Vocal Leaf Tea. It’s a brand that aligns with my values of health and wellness, providing high-quality tea blends that cater to a diverse audience.

Over the past few months, I’ve been tirelessly working on my “Support The Hustle” campaign, which involves releasing a new single every week for 21 weeks. This initiative not only showcases my versatility as an artist but also allows me to directly engage with my audience through a pay-what-you-like model. It’s a way to democratize music consumption while staying true to my roots.

Additionally, I’ve been deepening my involvement in the community through various pop-up events and partnerships. Notably, I’ve collaborated with esteemed entities like Villon liquors, enhancing my presence in the beverage industry alongside my music career.

Throughout this period, I’ve also been focusing on expanding my reach through digital platforms and content creation. My series “Look What I Found” on Instagram highlights interesting finds and personal interests, adding a layer of personal connection with my followers. Moreover, the Conversations with Vocal Leaf series allows me to engage with diverse guests, sharing insights and stories that resonate with my community.

In essence, my path has been about blending my passions with purpose, continuously striving to innovate and connect on deeper levels with my audience.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Certainly, my journey hasn’t been a smooth road. Building a brand like Vocal Leaf Tea, while simultaneously pushing my music career under Hustle Jamez, requires immense time and energy. One of the main struggles I’ve faced is dealing with elements beyond my control—whether that’s market fluctuations, changes in consumer behavior, or even global events that affect engagement and sales.

Despite these challenges, my focus has always been on putting in the work and learning from each attempt. It’s about adapting and finding creative solutions to keep moving forward. Every setback has been a learning opportunity, pushing me to refine my strategies and better understand both my audience and the industries I’m involved in.
