Today, we’d like to introduce you to Idalis Richardson.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins around 2016-2017. I started with photography and slowly transitioned into videography a couple of years later. Since then, I have worked with most of the hip-hop and fashion creative scene here in Denver. I have been fortunate enough to be able to open up a local boutique and photography studio called Haus of Onco. Located at 2133 S Bellaire St, Denver, Co.

My goal with my store is to give another local brand an opportunity to sell their clothing at a physical brick-and-mortar location. While also having the ability to utilize the store for pop-ups and other social gatherings. Also, I have some boutique clothing available for sale as well. Currently, we do have some local brands in there, from Koolr Standards and Cen City to Millionaire. Come check us out and support your local brands.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing in life goes according to plan, but I am thankful for the knowledge I have gained from every obstacle.

Some people are just built for it, and I truly believe that is me. I have gone through every challenge in life, and I still never quit. You may switch lanes to slow down and get your bar rings, but you should never get off the exit.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
In the year 2024, I have been focusing on cinematic photography/videography.

At the age of 28, I want to leave a legacy with my films and to do so, I have to start somewhere, so I’m trying to do so with my latest music videos and photography.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I don’t know, honestly. I read a lot, study my craft, and work towards making my style my own.
