We founded Ascend Mushrooms in 2023 to stand at the frontlines of the mushroom revolution. By tapping into the healing powers of ceremonial-grade matcha, ceremonial-grade cacao, and nature’s most potent adaptogens, we have encouraged thousands to create space for meaningful rituals, transform their relationship with caffeine, enhance their sleep cycles, improve their digestion, mental clarity, and more through our products.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our journey began amidst personal challenges, marked by serious health concerns faced by those closest to us. These experiences brought a profound realization: our health is our most precious asset.

To integrate this, we leaned into self-healing practices such as breathwork, somatic healing, the intentional use of psychoactive compounds, and integration; which were further enriched by the grounding rituals of matcha, cacao, and functional mushrooms. This period of transformation revealed their deeper mission of building Ascend Mushrooms; a platform for physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

We specialize in the curation of Mushroom Matcha and Mushroom Cacao and are known for sourcing ceremonial-grade matcha and cacao. We source our matcha from Uji, Kyoto in Japan, and our cacao from the High Amazon in Peru.
