Check Out Janeen Stokes’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Janeen Stokes.

Hi Janeen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started when I began to write poetry when I was very young. When I was in elementary school. William Shakespeare was one of the first poets I was fascinated with and it only grew from there. As an artist, I love to put every element I have & will have into the art in make.

This includes my music, my photography, the book that I’m writing, my graphic design, including my poetry & my spiritual practice. I was born into this world as hyper-sensitive, so even at a young age I was put into this world differently. Seeing, smelling, feeling & sensing the world completely open.

Knowing I was different, means I could make a difference in the world. Not only did I know I could touch people’s lives, but made them better. Also to change the world, hopefully for the better. I’m also a shaman, I’m a healer. I will be having classes up soon.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been HELL. and I say this with a grateful & humble heart. I have had so many ups & downs in my life I’m thankful that I’m still alive & people enjoy me.

And people want me to do good & see what I have to offer as an artist. I have had to cut a lot of people out of my life because they were just so fucking toxic. It’s pretty fucked up when you have to cut your own family out of your life because they choose death, instead of life.

This will be the 3rd time, started my life over again, not because I was forced it’s because I chose to do better. I have had many challenges in life. I have had not only alcoholism but drug addiction, physical abuse & much more. And that’s only the physical.

I am also a healer & have come a crossed some evil shit in my day. But I have also healed & helped people with their problems not only physically but also spiritually. I have helped people with broken bones, down to going to someone’s house to get rid of demons. I have done many different things in my days & I’m just 43 years old.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
First, what sets me apart from others is that I have many talents. and the talents I have are quite extraordinary. I’m a poet, writer, shaman, jazz & opera singer. I’m also a slider. (SLIDERS) Street light interference, sometimes called high voltage syndrome, is the claimed ability of individuals to turn street lights or outside building security lights on or off when passing near them. I have been writing my poetry since I had a pen in my hand.

I’ve also been writing since elementary school & writing my book. I also can sing opera & jazz which I’m writing & singing in the album I’m currently writing. I never had a lesson in opera or jazz, only been a fan of the music for most of my life. I’m also a shaman, a healer. I have healed broken bones & I have also cured people from pain.

I’m also a very good photographer. I’m also creating my line of clothes. I’m also a model & actress here in Helsinki, Finland. And that’s only the start of what I want to accomplish.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Take people’s options about you with a grain of salt.

Death is only a beautiful beginning.

Always stay humble, but take no bullshit.

Taking care of oneself is not selfish, It’s called LOVE.

Don’t chase after what you want, attract it.

And always, keep your heart & mind open.
