Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Luckey.

Hi Joshua, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Robert’s Re-Creations started off as a final project/exam when i attended
Emily Griffith Technical College in which we had to create a business plan.
Robert’s Re-Creations transform the mundane into wearable art through the discipline of Upcycling. all materials are locally sourced from a variety donors sponsors & Thrift stores. This allows us to reduce the amount of items going to the land fills, thus reducing our carbon footprint
in addition we get to keep our prices low enough to make our creations affordable to all.
we specialize in Cosplay costumes as well as looks for the runway, stage performances and Photoshoots. we have been in business since August of 2015.
since then we have appeared in several articles of Publications such as 303 magazine
& Pin Up Styles Magazine.
we pride ourselves on the maximum utilization of available resources, our mottos are:

*If you can conceive it, together we can achieve it,
*Just imagine the possibilities…………….

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No business is without its challenges, we have often had to adapt to the rapid changes that occur within the fashion industry over the last 10 years
such as learning to design for different body
types and ages ranging from 6 years old to 60+. in addition we have had to overcome
lack of resources & even declines in sales
at time
However, with each creation commission or collection
we endeavor to teach ourselves how to work with new or different materials & techniques
ranging from classic to non conventional
each Creation usually involves an intricate process combining creativity,imagination patience, and experience.
Furthermore,
we always try to cater to the individual style
and or personality of each client allowing them a much more immersive and memorable experience.

we specialize in cosplay costumes as well as looks for the runway and photoshoots.
we upcycle materials into the unique and individual.
we offer commissions and custom made pieces.
the core of our brand is concept development and head to toe styling
all of our items are locally & ethically sourced
and 100%handmade

some of the things that set us apart from everyone else is we
can fabricate almost every aspect of every look
ranging from headpieces to clothes to shoes & accessories

we dont mass produce and rarely replicate any our our looks
which makes them one of a kind and or unique.
we often highlight
character & concept development
in our creations to allow our clients an immersive experience we design for
all ages all sizes all genders
