Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Oneil

Hi Julie , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Main Street Tattoo is Longmont, Colorados oldest Tattoo Studio (coming up on 25years of business). My Husband convinced me to quit my job. I began running the shop as the Front Girl answering phones, emails, books, and scheduling tattoo appointments. Quickly i was asked to do piercings. With a few pointers from another piercer in Ft. Collins i taught myself the craft and have been piercing for the past 12 years

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes. I had the support of our Artists and Friends!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have been very successful at piercing because i stay grounded, humble, and i am good with people as well as taking my time with each client. Taking time requires communication, precision with each piercing, and never rushing through a piercing. Making someones day is a great feeling!

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Everyone that works at 720 are each other’s mentors. We bounce ideas off eachother.
