Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasey Alarcon

Hi Kasey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I first started my social media presence back in 2012, I first mainly used my social medias as a form of creative expression, and just now recently turned it into my personal business to promote not just my creativity relating to photography & videography but also to offer personalized tarot readings to help evolve other people’s consciousness & expand their awareness to spirituality and they everyday magic we can all collectively experience throughout this lifetime.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth process, I have experienced homelessness, bullying , harassment & even some stalking situations along the way. There is always going to be obstacles set in your path no matter what it is you are trying to accomplish. I personally believe overcoming our hardships is what helps push us to personal growth & success. There has been some bumps in the road but at the end of the day I don’t regret anything. Lately I have been seeing my hard work pay off and I am very greatful to receive so many amazing opportunities that I would not have experienced otherwise.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently I offer personal tarot readings in regards to love, future & even career. I offer advice and a listening ear for anyone who is interested in expanding their mindset to the worlds & realities around us.
I also enjoy using my platforms to express my artistic freedom through photography, videography & music. I have always been heavily involved with various forms of art work since I was a child. from oil painting , multiple styles of dancing to photography & video editing. I have received different awards for my creative abilities & have been showcased in some art shows/galleries & numerous dance productions. I now currently use media as my primary artistic focus.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Yes I had 2 dance mentors in college, Eric stern & Amanda sowerby from Weber state university located in ogden Utah. They not only helped me improve my physical talents when it came to dancing but helped me grow, improve & learn different ways to express myself as an artistic individual.

I also like to thank my late mother & father who also taught, funded & supported me throughout every creative endeavor I have pursued/ been involved with. They always encouraged me to continue to be creative, as they were both creative people themselves. My father having been an artist & my mother having been in a band & musically gifted.
