Kushalta  & Priyanka, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Golden Gatherings & Co. was born from a deep love of bringing people together and from years of being the go-to planners in our families and communities. From birthdays and weddings to cultural and community events, we were always the ones making sure every detail felt intentional, personal, and joyful.

As daughters of immigrants, we grew up watching our families celebrate life’s milestones with so much heart, even when resources were limited. Those gatherings weren’t just events – they were moments of connection, resilience, and love. We’ve carried that spirit with us into this business.

Golden Gatherings is more than an event planning company- it’s a reflection of our roots, our values, and our belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and supported. We specialize in weddings and personal events because we understand the beauty (and sometimes chaos!) that comes with them and we’re here to make it easier, more meaningful, and full of joy.

For us, this work is about more than timelines and color palettes. It’s about honoring traditions, telling stories, and creating moments that people will carry with them forever.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not always! like most meaningful journeys, ours has come with its fair share of challenges.

Starting a business from the ground up means learning as you go. We’ve had to figure out everything from building systems and processes to navigating finances, marketing, and client relationships, all while trying to stay creative and grounded in our purpose.

One of the biggest challenges has been wearing all the hats – planner, designer, admin, social media manager, accountant—you name it. There have also been moments of self-doubt, especially in an industry that’s constantly evolving and competitive.

But each challenge has taught us something valuable and pushed us to grow. At the end of the day, we always come back to why we started: to create meaningful, intentional events that bring people together and celebrate life’s most special moments. That purpose keeps us going, even when the road gets bumpy

Golden Gatherings & Co. is a full-service event planning and design company dedicated to creating intentional, beautiful, and unforgettable celebrations. We work on weddings, social events, and milestone moments of all kinds, and are known for our thoughtful planning, eye for design, and warm, people-centered approach. Whether it’s an intimate backyard ceremony or a multi-day celebration, we’re here to make the planning process seamless and the event experience meaningful.

What sets us apart is our ability to truly listen and understand our clients’ visions, values, and priorities.
