Today we’d like to introduce you to Leonardo Munoz.

Hi Leonardo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ritmo Cascabel is a bloody ripper cumbiadelica band hailing from Denver. We make music in Denver Colorado.

These legends have created a wicked blend of cumbia, western, and rock and roll. They formed in early 2020 and have been smashing it ever since. Their self-titled, debut album was recorded in CDMX and comes out in Fall 2023.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our biggest challenge so far has been finding an online audience for our music. We have been successful at making good shows but we still need to be able to have people listen to our music online all around the world.

Do you have any advice for those just starting?
Our only advice would be to keep pushing even when it seems hard, sometimes the toughest times make for the greatest memories.
