Today we’d like to introduce you to Malle + Jess Gambuti + Robson.

Hi Malle + Jess, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We both started our careers outside of the USA, focusing on theatre and fashion. 9 years ago we joined forces and channeled our skill and talent into an industry that we saw a niche market for. We started small, doing weddings and events that we could simply take on together as a duo. Over the years we recognized the demand for accommodating larger parties, so in order to keep a standard of high quality work ethic, good taste and consistency, we created a team of stylists and artists that supported that demand and vision. We now run an agency called GR hair and makeup that caters to luxury events, both small and large.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being 2 artists that have a very high standard of work ethic, it is always a challenge building a team that shares and brings the same spirit to the table. Sometimes this can be a challenge. On top of that, building a company that relies on other people to represent something that you have worked so hard to create, and trusting that they will prioritize the same things that we do, is always daunting.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are passionate hair and makeup artists. On top of creating beautiful art and making people feel their best, we truly care about capturing the clients personality, and use our skills to enhance those personality traits through timeless beauty.
we also specialize in giving the client the best experience from day of inquiry to the end of their event. We feel like its not just about the day of service, it goes beyond that.

We are a company that is know for natural, modern and elevated beauty services. We believe in making you feel like the best version of yourself.
We are also known for being able to accommodate large parties, where all your beauty needs are taken care of efficiently with one company, eliminating the stress of managing multiple vendors.

We’re proud that we’ve created a team of highly skilled cohesive artists, and that we can confidently and efficiently rely on them to represent our company as as we do.
We recognize the role we can play in bringing a good energy and vibe to an event and always try to put our best foot forward with this.

How do you think about luck?
We both feel like GR has not grown because of luck, but rather hard work and commitment to our vision. For us it has really been a matter of seeing a niche market and taking a risk.
