Check Out Marie Lynch’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marie Lynch

Marie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in real estate in 1997 and currently service the Denver area and the foothills (Evergreen, Conifer). I am in this business to help people, however I can. It is my calling, not my job. I am not sure that as a Realtor, I am that inspiring, but I may have been nominated because of my volunteer work in the Evergreen area.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My first year in real estate was amazing, then I moved to Evergreen where I didn’t know anyone. It was a struggle to get my business rolling and I floundered for several years. When my kids started attending the charter school in Evergreen, I began to volunteer in their classrooms and for the Parent Teacher Organization. I found that I loved helping out and giving of my time to assist for a greater good. Since that time, I have built my business on referrals and past clients.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As I mentioned, I am a Realtor in the Denver area/foothills area. I specialize in helping people. I care for my client’s well-being and wants/needs more than I care about the money I make. I am known for giving of my time to help others. I volunteer my time for the Mountain Metro Association of Realtors. I am the chair of two committees: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Community Outreach. I would say I am known for my volunteer work with this and other organizations in the Evergreen area. I have earned the Community Outreach award, Realtor of the Year, award and served as President of Mountain Metro Association of Realtors. I think what sets me apart is my attitude, I am grateful for everything in my life and always willing to go an extra mile for others.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I would tell anyone who is just starting out to find an organization that you feel strongly connected to where you can give of your time. You will meet people there who can either become clients or refer you to clients. I believe it’s more important to give than to receive.
