Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Risius.

Mark, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got started and music back in high school I picked up drums and was instantly addicted and I brought that drummer style over to guitar by using open tunings and a dynamic percussive style.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I like most artists it’s a struggle for marketing and gaining followers and fans. Still what’s great about music is that it’s so rich and rewarding experience regardless

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a unique guitar style if it’s in a tapping percussive style and I’ve always written all originals I love exploring what comes through

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’m always trying out new ideas and new instruments I invested heavily in a home studio and that has been very rewarding and one of the best investments actually the best investment I ever made
