Check Out Melinda Walters’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Melinda Walters.

Hi Melinda, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started working with intuitive art about five years ago. It began with a deep question rising from within me during a pivotal moment in my life. I was reflecting on everything I had experienced and seeking guidance about my soul’s purpose for this next chapter. This led me to explore dreaming, art, creativity, and leading red thread circles. Along the way, I learned how to serve as an ambassador for dreams, helping to bring dreaming back into a respected place in our culture. I wanted to share creativity in a way that honors community and connection. Discovering the lineage of Intentional Creativity was a turning point, allowing me to blend these gifts into a healing and creative process I feel deeply excited to share with others.
Right now, my business, Muse Dreams, is a vibrant creative space where I bring together many of my passions. I’m writing a fantasy book series that weaves themes of alchemy, dreams, and transformation. Alongside that, I design and publish oracle decks that support intuitive connection and creative guidance.
I host art workshops designed to help people tap into their creativity while experiencing healing and personal growth. The Muse Dreams Podcast is another way I share inspiration and deep conversations with artists, dreamers, and creators. I’m proud to be the creator of the Muse Activation Method, a unique process that integrates these elements to help people awaken their creative power and live more aligned lives.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been an easy path, yet I’m thankful for the bumps along the way. One of the hardest parts was learning to trust my own intuitive process and really find my voice. A lot of artists aren’t encouraged to fully embrace their creativity, so the pressure to fit into what’s “expected” felt pretty limiting. Building a community and sharing this work takes time and patience. Helping people see that their art truly matters and that their creativity is powerful is a big part of why I do what I do. Those challenges helped me understand what I offer and who I’m here to support, which makes the journey all the more rewarding.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I help people rediscover their creativity as a pathway to healing and self-expression. Through my Muse Activation Method, I guide individuals past creative blocks and self-doubt to access what I call their Muse, the inner source of creativity that we all possess.

I’m most proud of creating safe, supportive spaces where people feel seen, heard, and inspired to explore their own unique creative paths. What sets me apart is my ability to combine creative tools, deep intuition, spirituality, and techniques like active dreaming. This allows me to meet people where they are and help them unlock something meaningful within themselves.

The heart of my work is encouraging people to connect deeply with their creativity for self-care and meaningful change.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
For me, creativity is the quality that’s been most important to my success. Creativity involves exploring new perspectives, building connections, and addressing challenges along the path. It keeps me inspired and adaptable, helping me bring fresh ideas to my work and find meaningful ways to support others on their own creative journeys.
