Hi Naomi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, my name is Naomi and I have been an Artist since I was 3 years old. I grew up in Cleveland, OH and have resided in Wyoming for almost six years now. I started out drawing my own coloring pages and worked my way up to having my very own Art business. I’d also like to thank you all for the opportunity! I am so happy! I am a self taught artist and my artwork catalog ranges from Portraits, Landscapes, Space and Planets, and I even have customized clothing and shoes! I actually have a lot in store! I’ve had an immense passion for art since my early childhood and it quickly became my emotional support system and outlet. I have drawn inspiration from within and from the world all around me. I have been featured a few times here in Cheyenne, WY at The Hynds for their artwalk events featuring local artists. I like to work closely with my clients to create a unique piece of their choice that can inspire them and make them happy every time they see the piece or wear the clothing. I look forward to working with new people and sharing my colorful mind with everyone; as life is very precious. I am very optimistic about my art and I take each phase as a lesson to grow closer to my vision. I will say to other artists, enjoy your art! You may not please everyone but the right people will always find you and in the end you will be so glad you kept going!!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been the smoothest ride however, the journey of life was never promised to be easy. The process equivalent to finding one of the world’s largest diamonds. Trial and error, sweat, long nights, and sometimes even mental warfare yet you keep digging. The heart of a Lion and a vision. Seeing yourself with the diamond already in your hand and the magic it’ll bring to your life giving you the adrenaline rush to keep digging. In the midst of digging you realize your tools can be used for more than one technique… and then you hear a clink. The brink of a victory. The sound alone is enough to move a man to tears…

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have an art business where I paint and sell canvases, clothing, shoes, and accessories. I am known for painting Space, Landscapes and portraits on canvas and denim. I’m a huge Jimi Hendrix fan as well as my late father so the name Hendrix became more of a lifestyle than just a name. HendriX Arts is set apart from the crowd simply because we ARE the art and even though it is a business now, it will always be my love for helping others see the world differently that will provide a unique and unforgettable experience. I am most proud of my Space and Mountain landscapes and I am always excited to try something new. A lot of my pieces are one of one or there are a few I recreate to challenge my own growth!

I’m reachable via email and text and would absolutely be open to collaborating with new people! I’ll be honest my business is fairly new in regards to establishment so that would be a new venture I’d love! You can support me by buying art or even simply liking or sharing my work!
