Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Sarine.
Hi Samantha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve spent over a decade working in the event space, with seven particularly formative years supporting event design, creation, and facilitation in both Denver and on the East Coast. Over the last eleven years, I’ve worked on corporate, nonprofit, and social events, partnering closely with clients to translate big ideas into thoughtful, well-executed experiences.
As my career progressed, I became increasingly drawn to the full lifecycle of events. Thriving as a support from early concept and strategy through on-site execution and guest experience. In June 2024, I launched my event management company, Sarine Planning, to intentionally focus on that end-to-end process, producing meaningful corporate and social events from start to finish.
Alongside client work, I also founded Amigas Means Friends, a community-driven women’s event series rooted in connection, vulnerability, and shared growth. That work has become an important part of my story and reflects my passion for using events as a tool for community-building. I love creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and genuinely connected.
Today, Sarine Planning brings together operational expertise, thoughtful design, and a people-first approach, whether I’m supporting a large-scale corporate gathering or an intimate, community-centered experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In many ways, it’s been a smooth road thanks to the strength of my community and professional network. Having long-standing relationships and a trusted reputation in the event space allowed Sarine Planning to launch with momentum and early client support.
That said, being a solopreneur means nothing is ever that easy. There’s an endless to-do list, constant prioritization, and the responsibility of wearing every hat: from strategy and sales to logistics and execution. As Sarine Planning expands to support more clients in Virginia and New York City, travel, capacity management, and growing pains have naturally become part of the journey.
Those challenges have been important teachers. They’ve pushed me to build better systems, protect my energy, and be intentional about how I grow. Overall, the road hasn’t been perfectly smooth, but it’s been deeply rewarding and very aligned with the goal of building something sustainable, thoughtful, and impactful.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Through Sarine Planning, I specialize in planning and managing corporate events that are organized, intentional, and easy for clients to navigate. I work as a true extension of my clients’ teams, partnering from concept and budgeting through logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure every detail is handled.
With over ten years of experience, my background includes corporate gatherings, leadership retreats, panel discussions, nonprofit events, networking events, and company celebrations. I’m known for bringing structure, calm, and clarity to complex events, allowing clients to stay focused on their goals while I manage the moving pieces behind the scenes.
What sets me apart is my collaborative approach. I act as a temporary teammate rather than a transactional vendor, offering flexible support, from a few strategic planning hours to full-scale event management. I’m most proud of building long-term client relationships and delivering worry-free corporate events that feel thoughtful, seamless, and well-executed.
What does success mean to you?
With Sarine Planning, I define success as doing work that brings genuine joy while creating calm and well-executed experiences for clients. In the corporate event space, success isn’t just about attendance numbers or aesthetics, it’s about clarity, organization, and delivering an experience that supports business goals without unnecessary stress.
Of course, success also means building a business that supports your life and values. But if the work itself isn’t fulfilling, the title or revenue alone doesn’t matter. I believe success comes from aligning your skills with meaningful work and taking action to turn ideas into reality.
At Sarine Planning, I see my team as the do-ers. We’re the part of a corporate event team that moves projects forward, transforming ideas into intentional, seamless events that feel thoughtful, productive, and worth everyone’s time.
