As a food safety specialist in the corporate food and beverage industry, my professional journey has always centered on ensuring quality and safety. Yet, my true passion lies in crafting extraordinary culinary experiences. I’ve always been a dedicated foodie, captivated by beautifully presented dishes, whether they’re wholesome or indulgent. Friends often joke that my eyes are bigger than my stomach, and they’re right—I love trying everything, and shareable plates are my favorite way to explore new flavors.

From a young age, I proudly held the title of “Charcuterie Board Expert” at family gatherings, a hobby that has grown with me and evolved alongside my commitment to wellness. As I’ve focused more on nourishing my body, I’ve discovered a way to blend my love for indulgent snacking with a mindful approach to health.

The charcuterie boxes I create are more than just an assortment of delicious flavors—they’re about feeling great inside and out. By incorporating self-care additions, I aim to elevate the experience, offering not just enjoyment, but also promoting overall well-being. These thoughtful touches are designed to enhance both your emotional state and physical health, ensuring you feel rejuvenated and balanced after every bite.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a pop-up business has certainly been challenging, especially without a clear guide on the most cost-effective approach. However, it’s been a rewarding and eye-opening experience that has allowed me to tap into my creativity. I’ve handled everything myself, from managing social media accounts to obtaining licenses and building the website. Fortunately, I have friends who have launched their own businesses, and their support has been invaluable. Though I’ve never been heavily involved in social media, it’s been exciting to explore new ways to engage with potential customers and create content. Now, my focus is on driving orders and building brand awareness.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My business specializes in wellness-infused charcuterie boxes, starting with made-to-order options and expanding to farmers markets and pop-up events next season. What sets us apart from other local charcuterie businesses is our focus on high-protein, high-fiber boxes, designed to leave you feeling satisfied and energized. Each box includes an “order of operations” guide to optimize your snacking experience, along with self-care additions to enhance your overall well-being. We also provide recipe cards for curated mocktails and cocktails to complement the experience. We hope that simply receiving one of our boxes takes the stress out of planning a perfect night with friends—everything you need is included, and anything extra is clearly listed.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I hope to expand by acquiring a charcuterie cart to cater to larger events, providing an unforgettable self-care experience for guests. Ultimately, I’m just excited to be starting this journey now, and I consider any future improvements a win.
