Community Highlights: Meet Andrea Clem of The Way Home To You

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Clem.

Hi Andrea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I feel like this journey to become who I am today began in 2017, during a real low point in my life. Seeking relief from the depression and anxiety I was experiencing, I began to look for tools to help quiet my mind and the endless thoughts that spiraled into my head. I started meditating and listening to and reading books from people like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Abraham Hicks, Michael Singer, Dr. Sue Morter, and Dr Shelfali Tsabary.

From there, I explored other modalities such as various breath work techniques, Qigong, receiving energy and sound healings, and working with an amazing therapist who really helped me reconnect with my body and my own Divine Self. 2020 was a year filled with change (beyond that which COVID brought). A long-term relationship ended, and I was feeling low again.

For years, my work as a CFO had taken up a large part of my life and waking day, and I really felt like I was not being the mom to my two boys that I wanted to be, so I decided to take a risk and quit my job. While I started to contract doing similar accounting and strategy work, I purposely kept my hours low, so I could spend more time with the boys and figure out what it was that I was meant to be doing.

I began by obtaining my certification as a Conscious Parenting Coach through Dr. Shefali Tsabary and then continued my learning through classes to receive certifications in sound healing, crystal and chakra healing, AromaTouch therapy, and receiving my Reiki attunements to become a Reiki Master/Teacher.

In late 2022, I started The Way Home To You, LLC offering intuitive energy healing, individualized and group sound healing, and AromaTouch therapy. I am now working to add intuitive counseling as a service to help support and guide others who are seeking a more spiritual and holistic way to reclaim their life and connect with their Divine selves.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Leaving the corporate world to follow my heart has definitely not been a smooth road to journey on. Many thought I was a little crazy to leave my position to try something so radically different, but I knew that listening to what my heart was telling me was important.

For me, sharing the tools that have helped truly save my life, and making a difference in others’ lives is much more important than being “successful” in the traditional sense by climbing the corporate ladder and making lots of money. I can’t lie, launching a new business is hard.

There were months that no one came for services, and I questioned if I should keep on going down this path. But I continued to put myself out there and share these gifts, knowing wholeheartedly that this is what I am meant to do. I believe by showing the universe that I am willing and ready, it will provide, and bring those individuals into my life that I am meant to meet.

I am seeing a lot of momentum in my business now, from recurring guests at my group sound bath offerings to a growing list of clientele whom I am cultivating genuine relationships with. I truly expect that this will continue, so long as I continue to put my authentic self out there and lead with my heart.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Way Home To You, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I provide a safe and honoring space for individuals to come, exactly as they are in the moment, and be met with love. Through services such as intuitive energy sessions (using Reiki and other forms of energy healing), sound healing (with tuning forks, Tibetan bowls, and other instruments), AromaTouch Therapy (which is doTERRA‘s exclusive aromatherapy protocol utilizing essential oils and constant gentle touch), cord, cutting and other sacred ceremonies, I provide a one on one connection while offering a holistic/alternative means of healing.

Another service is Intuitive Counseling Sessions, where I support and guide individuals as they traverse the journey of remembering their soul’s purpose here on earth and connecting to their Divine Self. These sessions not only provide a safe place to talk about whatever is going on, but I also offer tools (such as meditation, breath work, etc) to help them self-regulate and truly harness their own power from within.

In a group setting, I offer Sound Baths (using crystal singing bowls and other instruments) on the first and third Wednesday of each month for anyone who is interested in joining. I also offer group Sound Baths for businesses, institutions, or individuals who would like to host one in their own space. Last, I make and sell essential oil blends using doTERRA oils, in roller balls infused with crystals and reiki, and as room sprays.

What makes me the proudest is the feedback I receive from those that I have worked with. Not only do they physically and emotionally feel better, they feel seen and heard, and recognize the genuine love and respect that I have for each of them.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Find your tribe! Whether it’s through a networking group, your city’s chamber meetings, or meeting others who are in a similar space as you, having the support and advice of others who understand the hardships of running a business of your own is so valuable. Creating these connections can also lead to referrals and other opportunities to help you grow.
