Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Martinez
Hi Christina , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m proud to say I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver Colorado. My career journey started in customer service at Family Dollar when I was just 16. After high school, I attended Red Rocks Community College with plans to become a medical assistant and phlebotomist. Although that path didn’t work out, it led me to new opportunities.
I transitioned to working at Dish Network and later joined Lakewood PD as a 911 dispatcher, where I spent 10 years handling some of the most intense and stressful situations. Over time, I became adept at staying calm and composed under pressure, but the emotional toll eventually made me realize it was time for a change.
That’s when I became a judicial assistant at the Denver County Court, where I’ve been working ever since. I absolutely love it here. But I’ve always had a desire to do more for my family and my community, which inspired me to pursue my real estate license and become a Realtor.
Helping others achieve their dreams is my passion. It’s truly rewarding to guide people through the home-buying process, especially those who don’t believe homeownership is within their reach. My mission is to show them that it’s possible and to help make their dreams a reality.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey hasn’t been easy—it’s been a constant struggle to prove to myself that I can successfully balance a dual career. While I’ve faced challenges throughout my life, I can honestly say I’ve questioned myself more while building my real estate business than I ever did during my 10 years working as a 911 dispatcher.
Real estate, however, has become my true calling. It’s a way for me to help others and show them that homeownership isn’t just a dream—it’s achievable. Every success story reminds me why I chose this path, even when the road gets tough.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Keller Williams Realty Urban Elite ?
I’m a Realtor based in the Denver metro area, passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. My mission is to educate, guide, and support my clients through every step of the home-buying or selling process, making it as smooth and stress-free as possible.
I specialize in working with first-time homebuyers and those who might feel that homeownership is out of reach. I’m known for being approachable, patient, and resourceful, ensuring that my clients feel empowered and informed. I also help sellers maximize the value of their homes by offering strategic marketing and personalized service.
What sets me apart is my dual background in high-pressure environments, such as 911 dispatch and the judicial system, combined with my passion for helping people achieve their goals. This experience has taught me to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and problem-solve in any situation. My approach is client-focused—I truly care about my clients’ dreams and work tirelessly to make them a reality.
I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me. Knowing that I’ve been able to help people achieve something as significant as buying or selling a home is incredibly rewarding. My brand represents reliability, dedication, and a commitment to making real estate accessible to everyone.
I want readers to know that I’m here to help, no matter where they are in their real estate journey. Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading, downsizing, or selling, I’ll work closely with you to ensure the process is clear and successful. I’m also happy to provide free consultations and resources to help people better understand their options. My goal is to turn what might feel like an overwhelming dream into an achievable reality.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I plan to continue growing my real estate business by expanding my reach and helping even more individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. I’m focused on staying ahead of market trends, building stronger connections within the community, and creating resources to make the buying and selling process even more accessible.
A big goal for the future is to establish a mentorship program for first-time homebuyers, where I can provide education and guidance to help them feel confident and prepared. Additionally, I’m exploring opportunities to partner with local organizations to promote financial literacy and homeownership education in underserved communities.
On a personal level, I’m working toward balancing my dual career with my family life and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. Change is always on the horizon, but I’m excited about what’s ahead and ready to take on new challenges and opportunities. I would also love to help my kids become knowledgeable and know the importance in owning their home and teach them how to invest into real estate.
