Community Highlights: Meet Devin Keopraphay of Rising Tiger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Keopraphay.

Hi Devin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We started as a mobile delivery specializing in Asian American brunch. After being warmly welcomed by the Longmont community we decide to set our hearts on opening a brick & mortar. Bringing to life an Asian American cafe, unique coffee bar and workspace.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think it’s safe to say that anyone who chose to pursue their dream, the road is never smooth. Struggles of work, life balance. Managing parenthood, establishing an ever-growing business are the constant everyday hurdles.

We’ve been impressed with Rising Tiger, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rising Tiger is an Asian American cafe, specializing in brunch, a unique coffee program and workspace. We also host a plethora of cooking classes and other various events. I am proud to bring more culture and diversity to our little community of Longmont. Filling the community with happiness and our classic pineapple buns!

What matters most to you?
As cliche as it sounds family, being a bridge to expand food horizons and deepen the culture and diversity in our community. Being a family own shop, digging our roots is very important to us, we’re here to serve more than food but to be a place for everyone.
