Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
“With over 18 years of experience as a Pastor, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals and couples through life’s journey. My passion for counseling and officiating weddings led me to pursue this work full-time. Having officiated over 40 weddings, I understand the importance of a strong foundation for a lasting marriage.

Beyond officiating, I offer premarital counseling and marriage coaching to equip couples with the tools and insights they need to navigate life’s challenges together. My goal is to be more than just an officiant; I strive to be a trusted resource for couples as they build a fulfilling and enduring partnership.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
“Absolutely not! Some of the biggest obstacles have been lack of confidence, comparison to others, and lack of support. However, I’ve realized that showing up and not giving up are crucial for success. Finding likeminded people who are open, honest, and supportive can provide incredible fuel to keep going. Those who truly succeed are the ones who step outside their comfort zone, embrace their passions, and cultivate meaningful connections. These are the people who find purpose and joy in life.”

We’ve been impressed with Love Officiated, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Love Officiated was born out of a desire to provide couples with more than just a wedding ceremony. Unlike traditional officiants, I take a ‘walk with you through life’ approach, offering premarital counseling, marriage officiating, and ongoing coaching – a service often exclusively available through churches.

Many couples today seek a meaningful and supportive guide beyond their wedding day. That’s where Love Officiated comes in. I’m passionate about helping couples build strong foundations and navigate life’s journey together.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
“While I try to maintain an optimistic outlook, the COVID-19 crisis presented some valuable lessons. I was initially fearful of the unknown, of the potential impact on my family and community. However, witnessing the profound impact on families like the one I cared for – where I supported them as they grieved the loss of their husband and father – deeply impacted me. This experience reinforced the importance of compassion, empathy, and cherishing every moment. I wish I had been more proactive in reaching out to those more severely impacted by the pandemic and shown greater curiosity about their experiences.”
