Community Highlights: Meet Justin Wright of Wright Lifestyle and Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Wright.

Hi Justin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been into fitness for nearly 25 years, training with all kinds of methodologies, different diets and more. I was a very competitive athlete growing up, and transitioned to weights/nutrition later in life. I even met my wife on a fitness forum nearly 19 years ago.

As someone who has traveled the globe for work, I understand the difficulties of maintaining a fitness and nutrition plan on the road. As a former executive, I understand the higher than normal levels of stress and difficulty sleeping. I personally got to a much higher weight than I should have, and now created a system for high performers and leaders to maintain their fitness on the road, eat healthy and sleep better.

Working out and eating well at that corporate level is much different than just “go to the gym”, and most trainers simply don’t understand what it takes for execs/leaders/high performers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I never really advertised my services for the longest time, and only trained people infrequently. Now that I’m pushing it more into the public eye, the transition is a challenge.

Social proof, understanding the diffference between DIY and actual knowledge and much more has been difficult. Most people I work with are former athletes who think they can do it like they used to, but don’t realize their biology is different now. As soon as they see that, lightbulbs go off and changes happen.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in high touch, highly specific fitness and nutrition plans with support around stress management, sleep, positivity training and hormone optimization.

This is not your typical fitness program a trainer at a gym will give you. It is a plan tailored to your goals, physique and more. The nutrition is flexible, allowing you to enjoy the foods you love – this only increases adherence to the plan.

The two overlooked pillars of wellness are sleep and stress management. They are crucial for your success and health.

The holistic approach is high touch, meaning we speak weekly, and you log in my app. This allows me to help you make small changes along the way, which turn to big changes over time.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love CO. My wife is from here, the weather is amazing and the outdoors recreation scene is unbeatable.
