Today we’d like to introduce you to Liz Rossof
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I bring a lifetime love of the real estate business and 28 years of working in marketing, design, and technology to the challenge of buying and selling houses. This combined experience gives me an edge in thinking outside the box as well as the tools needed to be sure your home stands out in the market and you get the offers you want.
Turning renters into homeowners is my biggest personal reward as a real estate agent. I have lived on both coasts of the US and abroad, and I am proud to be a Denverite now! Denver is an incredible, vibrant city with so much to offer from sports to cuisine, fine art to rodeo, and everything in between!
When I am not working I’m likely driving my dogs around to their playdates, training and agility classes, or swim practice- I’m not kidding, these rescue mutts are spoiled!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a real estate broker is not my first career. I was an educator and worked as a visual artist and in e-commerce marketing before taking this leap into real estate professionally. I grew up with learning differences and working in fields that lean on visual skills has always been better for me. I am also great with geography and math so real estate has been the career where I have found the most personal and financial success. Each transaction, each property presents its own set of challenges. No two homes are alike. Some challenges are harder than others, but getting through them while protecting my client’s best interests is what I am great at.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Denver Nook?
After working in real estate for 6 years under a larger international brand, I started my own real estate brand Denver Nook in 2023, and joined Green Door Living, where that brand is supported in 2024. The classic Denver bungalows of the 1910s-1930s all had kitchen nooks. Some are still intact and some have been removed to make way for more modern appliances. Nooks are cozy, warm, comfortable, and safe. My goal is that when you work with me as your realtor you get a similar feeling of being in that nook. My office is on the vibrate business corridor of Tennyson St. and I also live a few blocks away. While I serve all of Metro Denver, the Northside of Denver (also referred to as Highlands, Sunnyside, Berkeley, Sloan’s) is the micro-market I have the deepest knowledge of. I live in a home that is over 100 years old, and I also sell a lot of new construction. If you are torn between which to purchase, I can weigh those pros and cons with you in detail!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m a fairly open book, but they may not know that I was (very non-violently) kidnapped on Easter Island. It is a long, wonderful story.
